Quintessential ("Tess") is only the third palomino foal we've been fortunate to have produced, and she's spectacular!  Complete with the signature markings from her sire including matching hind stockings, a front white sock, a lovely blaze with a palomino spot, and a white chin all wrapped up in a golden body with a blonde main and tail - my oh my!

Quintessential has an outstanding pedigree for any jumper enthusiast with the bonus of being very flashy.  Her dam, Miss Quidam, is one of only a handful of Quidam de Revel mares in North America.

Her sire is our young premium imported Swedish stallion, Catapult, who made his debut in the jumper ring in 2010 and continues to show on the National A jumping circuit with great results.

Catapult is by Cagliostro 931, a Premeirad A Holsteiner/Swedish stallion, who was the high scoring jumper at his stallion testing in Sweden, and has a BLUP-index in jumping of 139 (BLUP-index ranked #19 of the top 350 stallions).  Cagliostro is a member of the Finnish International Showjumping team and has won and placed in numerous Grand Prix and International competitions including the World Equestrian Games, the Nation’s Cup (FEI: CSIO4*), and the World Cup (FEI: CSI-W).  

        
Quidam de Revel assisted the French Olympic Team with a Team Bronze Medal in the Olympic Games in Barcelona, and was 4th Individually with Hervé Godignon.  He placed many times in International competitions with approximately 40 top 10 placings in Grand Prix jumping competitions.  At least 48 offspring of Quidam de Revel are currently competing on the French circuit with an ISO of 140 or above. 

Great grand sires include Ladykiller xx, Cor de la Bryère, Sandro (Sandro Z), Almé,  Jalisco B, Ibrahim x 2, and Grand Veneur, France’s leading sire based on the performance of his progeny especially his elite son, Le Tot de Semilly.  Famous dams in her pedigree include Ella, who produced the international show jumper stallion Constant and sire of the world-famous Olympian show jumper Chin Chin, Dorette, who produced Roman and Farn, the sire of the Dutch Preferent Sire of the Century, Nimmerdor, and also Gold Rose, who was a member of the French show jumping team and won the Grand Prix of Paris and Madrid and became second in Lisbon, Barcelona and Hamburg. Her total winnings were 621,000 Francs and she had an untouchable jumping index of 186! (For reference, Chin Chin’s index is 166).

Quintessential has a fantastic blend of bloodlines, beauty and a double dose of a gentle disposition from both her sire and dam that should see her succeed in a multitude of disciplines.
